Biography

Kristin Schimik is a sculptor originally from Michigan, who lives and works in Seattle, Washington. Her ceramic work and mixed media installation explores cosmography with an emphasis on the tactility of form. Prior to joining the Inscape Arts community in Seattle, she has worked as an Artist in Residence at Pottery Northwest, the Santa Fe Art Institute, Caldera Arts, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts.
